Newsflash

Gibbons humidifiers humidification systems can help with the governments Carbon Reduction Commitment (CRC) comes into force in April 2010 and will affect approximatly 5,000 businesses in the UK. This is a Cap and Trade scheme for large non-energy intensive organisations.

Active ImageGibbons humidifiers and humidification systems are designed and manufactured in the UK for the humidification of office complexes and factories, including clean room and data centre applications. The heart of the Gibbons humidifier system is the rotary atomiser, which is exceptionally robust and reliable. The Gibbons rotary atomiser rotates at high speed turning water into a low impact, ultra fine mist (20 micron VMD), that evaporates into the air causing the air to become more humid. A big advantage of the Gibbons humidification system is the adiabatic cooling that results from the evaporation of the water mist. Several of our customers are making use of the adiabatic cooling in the summer months and in many offices and factories, adiabatic cooling has reduced the load on chiller systems throughout the winter months.

Energy Savings

Gibbons are specialists in producing very large energy savings by replacing steam humidifier systems with the Gibbons humidification system. In many applications the energy savings have paid for the Gibbons humidification system in less than one year!

The secret of the Gibbons humidification system is the control over the water flow to the rotary atomisers. Advanced control algorithms make the accuracy of the Gibbons humidification systems very high, controlling water flow to the atomisers to +/- 0.01 l/min. Gibbons have succeeded in designing a completely FAIL SAFE protection system against legionella. A failure of the protective system results in the Gibbons humidification system initiating a shut down and not allow water to flow until the problem is corrected. There is no upper limit to the capacity of the Gibbons humidifier system, we simply use multiple rotary atomisers connected to a single controller to achieve the required humidification load. If you have requirements for reliable humidification or adiabatic cooling or perhaps you require our rotary atomiser for your own application, please read on, view our recommendations page and feel free to contact us.
