Newsflash

The Gibbons humidification system can produce extremely large energy savings. We are finding that many projects are paying for themselves in less than 1 year. Not only does the Gibbons humidification system save you money, enormous reductions in CO2 emissions can be realised.

Active ImageAll adjustments required to set up the Gibbons humidifiers and humidification systems are made solely through the programmable H-Con 1.2 controller (right). There are no valves or potentiometers to adjust. The controller makes use of a menu system to display process values and control settings. For ease of programming, the control parameters are grouped into pages. When programming, a two line alpha-numeric display shows the parameter to be adjusted and the parameter value. When in display mode, the controller displays two actual values or process values to help monitor the systems performance. The controller has the facility for incorporating feedback signals to monitor and control the output humidity of the AHU and/or the humidity of the space which is to be humidified. In applications where BMS control is not available, an internal set point can be programmed in and the system will automatically control humidity and control the start/ stop function of the system, depending on the conditions. A sleep function can be enabled to shut the system down when humidification is not required.
