Prevention of legionella

Gibbons has taken great care to ensure that the question of infection from our humidification system is fully addressed. We have been using this system for 12 years and have had no instances of legionella being found in our humidifiers or humidification systems.

Our legionella protection system is FAIL SAFE, if it isn’t working, the humidifier will not operate. This gives us and our customer’s complete piece of mind.

The heart of our protection system is an extreamly powerful UV steriliser. It gives exciptionaly high kill rates, far more than is needed to produce sterile water.
